Returns/Exchanges

You can return most items for store credit redeemable on pier1.com within 30 days of delivery.The following will apply:

Only outbound shipping charges for damaged orders will be refunded. All other shipping charges are non-refundable and will automatically be deducted from the refund credit amount.
Clearance merchandise, any items marked "Final Sale" or marked nonreturnable may not be returned/exchanged.
Returns/exchanges are not accepted on pillows, comforter sets, or other bedding products.
We reserve the right to refuse returns/exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the customer.
Each returned item must be in its original condition and packaging to be accepted.
We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in transit. Please keep proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back returns.
Refunds are generally issued within 5-7 business days after we have processed your return.

Defective Product and Returns due to Our Error

If there are mistakes with your order, or items arrive defective/damaged at the time of receipt, we'll make it right by sending you replacement parts or accessories, replacing the item or issuing you a refund.In such an event, there is no return shipping charges.

Because your order is processed as quickly as possible, there is a 15 minute window for order cancellation during our normal business hours. I had a horrible experience with the whole communication/shipping/receiving. Boxes were damaged. Bed was most difficult to assemble. Poor instructions. And broken dowel pins!!!

This bed is beautiful but do take the other reviews seriously that say it takes a long time to put together. I believe it took me 4 and a half hours and I'm fairly good at putting furniture together...definitely not the easiest thing but in the end, it's a lovely frame and was a good choice :)

I like the style of the bed a lot. I assembled it by myself for about 3 hours. The assembly is not hard, the instructions are easy to follow but having an electric drill makes it 10x easier because some parts don't have pre-drilled holes. And of course since pine is so soft, the bed is easily dented and marked. Overall, I think the style looks good and the bed doesn't creak at all.

The bed is beautiful but a little lower than expected. The wood is really nice quality but the headboard seems a little flimsy. Overall I'm happy with the aesthetic but I will be adding more screws to made it a little more sturdy.

This bed is the most difficult piece of furniture that both me and my boyfriend have EVER had to assemble. Be prepared to have a full-blown toolkit handy and about half a day or more to assemble it. The tolerances for many of the parts were off, so screw holes wouldn't align and there's a big gap in our footboard. My boyfriend is an engineer, and builds things frequently, and even he found it to be the most frustrating assembly process ever. You also have to drill in like 40 individual planks to make the bottom of the bed, so just know that if you ever need to move this bed out of your home, you might just be better off throwing it away.

I absolutely love this bed. It's beautiful and strong. Assembly was combersome and it took 3 ppl to assemble, it would have been impossible for 1 person to assemble with no help. Aside from that it's been a dream. I searched high and low for a platform bed and this totally matched my aesthetic, it's minimal, with character and I feel very secure in bed, it doesn't squeak or move at all when I get into bed. If you're on the fence I highly recommend this beautiful bed.

Well, I honestly have no idea how this product is because I still have not received it. It was supposed to arrive on 29 JUL, but has encountered numerous shipping delays with no explanation as to why. I understand now why people order from Wayfair because their products arrive in a timely fashion. Let's just hope if I ever receive it, that it does not show up broken...but I'll keep expectations low...

Ok, this bed is NOT as rickety as the other reviews suggested. The directions were surprisingly clear, but not fool proof: make sure to lay out all the pieces and figure out which pieces go in what direction. If you have plans to disassemble, make sure to to use hand tools vs a drill. The materials are definitely not the highest quality but the bed is gorgeous and very photographic.

Echoing the sentiment of others - nice looking but quite honestly the most difficult thing I've ever had to put together. It speaks to how poorly this product was made. Assembly should usually be 1-2 hours for a very difficult assembly... not 3-4+. Side note is one of the parts was delivered with a chip in it and I am still waiting for a replacement part! Hopefully it will come somewhat soon.

Ok yes, it comes in like one million pieces, but if you're smart you have an electric screwdriver which obviously makes this easier to put together. I assembled it by myself and it took me like 4 hours total, with some distractions while watching The White Lotus - have yall seen that show? Don't watch it while putting this together. Anyway, on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being super hard to put together - this is a 3.5, more annoying that anything but if you follow the instructions it's really not that bad.

Did not deliver on time. I was sent an email that it was delivered i. Sunday and it never was. Had to order a replacement through Pier 1. Beyond that, it took nearly four hours to put together. The instructions were totally unclear. There were a ton of missing screws. I was required to drill my own holes when putting the slats in which is nearly impossible given the quality of the wood. The spindles don't even fit in the headboard because they were cut too short. Overall an awful bed. Terrible quality and looks horrible. I will not be buying from pier 1 again. I regret even buying it in the first place because now I am out 500 dollars and have a low quality bed sitting on my room that I have to look at every day.

Dear mr pier 1 Are you serious? The audacity. The unmitigated gall. Feedback on my experience? I purchased a bed from you. A bed. Not 97 pieces of bark and 176 screws of various sizes. This literal forest took hours of my time to assemble and I had to call in reinforcements and the entire construction took approximately 7 hours. I had never before, nor will ever again, purchase anything from your business. It's no wonder why all of your brick and mortar locations are no longer standing. 0 stars. Swipe left. Girl bye. I love this bed because of the looks, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it, but even when I move the slightest bit in bed it rattles. The wooden bars at the top of the bed rattle because there weren't screws to secure them in on the bottom half.

I would love to give this bed a 5-star review because it's beautiful and so boho-looking. It LOOKS great in my room.... for the appearance, it's a 10/10. But it was extremely hard to put together & one of the legs would not go properly into place. So the bed tilts down sometimes & I'm worried it will break. I have considered returning it but it would be so much work to take a part again. It's also sort of creeky (makes little noises when I switch sleeping slides or get in my bed).
